Who's In Charge?

When does convenience become a requirement? Many people would say that the Internet is indispensable in their daily lives and I would mostly agree.

As for cell phones, yesterday I forgot mine at home. I survived quite nicely but I the number of times I reached for it physically or metaphorically was eye opening.

Interestingly, new research suggests that flex time for working is causing a problem. The problem is the blurring of lines between work life and home life, causing people to have less down time.

That brings us to the title of the post, who is in charge? Just because you can answer the email or take the phone call, doesn't mean you should. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy and it isn't any good for Jill, either.

All kinds of literature stresses that we should lead balanced lives. Make sure that you do.
